Prostate health- Enlarged Prostate
Enlarged prostate is when the gland between the bladder and the Penis enlarges too much and is common amongst from 50+ years. Some of the symptoms of having an enlarged prostate include:- " feeling that you have not completely emptied your bladder after urinating " waking up often at night to urinate " urinating often " needing to push or strain to start the urine stream. The result is the enlarged prostate can lead to urine infections, and sometimes can cause complete blockage of the gland. As a result, surgery and/or medication maybe required to restore the gland and clear blockage of the gland.Prostate cancer
Prostate cancer is not normally found in men under the age of fifty but there is greater likelihood of the man having it as the man gets older. There has been much research into the cause of prostate cancer and why it happens but so far there are no conclusive answers. All what is known is that in this cancer that the tumor presses against the Urethra and stops urine flowing to the penis. Some of the symptoms of prostate cancer are extreme pain when urinating or blood appearing in the urine. As a result, surgery and/or medication maybe required to restore the gland and clear blockage.
